Alyssa
My first grandchild. I can remember that day as well as I can remember the day her Mommy was born. And I can remember that day as if it were yesterday. Scream! My Lord that child could scream. And as soon as they put her in her Mommy's arms, she quieted and fell asleep. And it has been that way ever since. She is a little version of her Mother. Beauty, intelligence and temper.
She is also personality plus.

Notice the pearls and her modeling technique.
So pixie-like. The camera loves her.
This is her first nine patch. She is getting a special gift in June. She is getting her very own Singer Featherweight. I have been waiting until she was old enough to understand what she is getting and she is ready.
She can also be quite the tomboy. Not very often. But sometimes.

And a clown.
And here she is now. Nine years old. She has freckles across her nose and she hates them. I hope one day she will realize how beautiful they make her look. How one day the man of her dreams will kiss each and everyone of them and tell her how much he loves her
and her freckles
Until then, she will be My Alyssa. Always and forever. And she will forever let me know
that
Life is Good
